ANOTHER SUCCESSFUL "CHEERS" MEETING

So we are patiently waiting for them to get here. I guess they like to be fashionably late. Tonight is Caribbean Shirt night. Kevin decided to "match" his shorts to his shirt. Love the color matching. Socks with sandals are just so SEXY!

Finally they arrive and we can get the meeting started. I think we are getting excited - at least I am.

Good food, good friends, good time was had by all. We took over 70 pictures just carrying on.


It is hard to believe that our cruise is almost here. A year sure goes by some fast.

We have all our packing done today. We were able this year to get it down to 3 suitcases from our usual 4. Next year we will try for 2. I'm not so sure that will happen. By the time you get snorkels and fins and shoes, shoes & more shoes. Of course 3 pairs of mine take up as much room in the suitcase as 1 par of Kevin's size 12's.
We have to get the Doctor "issues" out of the way so we can have clear sailing in the Caribbean!

This time next week.... WE ARE ON THE SHIP!!

CAN YOU BELEIVE IT. WE ARE LESS THAN TWO WEEKS AWAY BEFORE WE WILL BE SAILING AWAY INTO THE SUNSET.

ARLENE.. YOU SHOULD HAVE PUT YOUR THONG ON EARLIER WHEN YOU WERE IN DOMINICAN REPUBLIC. YOU HAVE A LARGE TAN LINE... OK.. SO IT'S NOT ARLENE. I DO HOPE WE DON'T ENCOUNTER ANY OF THIS!!!!

Well I am going to try and type this up in “word” and then cut and paste to the blog and see if that works. It will save a lot of time. It is still very icy out and now we are having snow. Isn’t that great. So lets see how this works.

WILL THIS FREEZIN RAIN EVER STOP!!!

Wasn't that a fun night. I HATE WINTER. I have watched the bachelor all season - finale last night. 5 Minutes before it was to start we lose the friggin power.

There is nuttin to do so we might as well go to bed since it's evident by the light flashes from the transformer across the street that this will not be an easy fix.

Well I was not tired so I had to listen to Kevin snoring for the next several hours before I finally went to sleep.

Power comes back on just before 8am for us. I understand that alot of others still have no power and won't have in the not to distant future - including Roger & Arlene. I hope you get it back soon. If not keep warm.. go to bed and dream of the Caribbean.
I have to tell you this before David ... I made fun of Linda this morning because she told me yesterday her printer was broke. Turns out after David investigated.. it just wasn't turned on. This morning David was here for coffee and helped me to get into the van. Very iced up. I had gone out first to start it to get the defrosters on .. but couldn't get in. So out he came and he pulled on the handle and I was prying with the handle of a kitchen implement and that door would not budge. He made the comment that it's like it's locked. I am sure you can figure the rest out..... grrrrrrrr
I have figured out that it is easier to upload all the pictures first to the blog and then do your typing after that. I have to get better at this or it will cost us a fortune on the ship.

Meeting is in progress. It took me over an hour to post last night and the pictures are still not in the right places.

We played crokinol and the guys creamed us ..AGAIN! I am not sure I like this game because I suck at it. Having David sit beside me doesn't help. He's so sympathetic.

I have figured out this morning that more than one person can post to the blog. Arlene and Roger, Linda and David - I have sent you and invitation to be poster on the blog. You guys can now post your thoughts - keep in mind I have the power to delete, edit and change.
